Provides technical and consultative assistance on engagements involving implementing the OPENTEXT Documentum product suite for ourworld-wide customers. Understands ITIL process and would be able to contribute in resolving incidents and fulfilling service requests, alsoperforms installation, development &integration, administration wheneveris required based on Technical lead assistance. Capable of performing assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent OPENTEXT in aprofessional manner to customers,partners and other OPENTEXTpersonnel at all times- Support and report to engagementdelivery manager while assigned toactive customer engagements.Regularly communicate status tothe engagement project managerand proactively identify issues andpreventive/remedial measures.
- Establishes relationships withclient technical counterparts.Participates in client meetingsrelated to solution scoping andplanning. Assist in the creation ofproposals that address current andevolving client requirements
- Perform installation, development,configuration, integration,administration, and testingactivities. Collaborate with seniorstaff and the engagement deliverymanager as required duringdifficult customer situations.
- Workin conjunction with colleagues andthe Product Support organization toensure effective resolution oftechnical issues encounteredduring implementations
- Prepare, maintain, and submitactivity/progress reports and timerecording/management reports inaccordance with publishedprocedures. Keep deliverymanagers informed of activities Notification details will be hidden duringsharing or screen recordingTearnings and Suggest improvements.
- Provide knowledge transfer toteam members, train staffpersonnel, provide on the jobguidance and mentoring andconduct training sessions tocustomer personnel whenauthorized by management• Adhere to processes andmethodologies to perform therequired function. Reportdeviations from defined processesto the engagement project managerand recommend associatedimprovements• Acquire OPENTEXT ProvenCertification in DocumentumContent Management,administration, programming,development.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Having good understanding ofprinciples of Enterprise ContentManagement systems·
- Exposer of different Documentum Suites like Content Server,D2,D2LS, Webtop DFS, DFC, BOF,WDK, DQL, Captiva, Infoarchive,Documentum Administrator.
- Good exposer in Documentumadministration and maintenanceactivities
- Participate in the day-to-dayadministration of the systems,including Incident & ProblemManagement
- Participate and contribute tochange & release managementprocess.
- Good to have exposer ofprogramming using Core Java andDFC.
- Good to have working knowledgeof Unix and Windows operatingsystems.
- Strong analytical skills combinedwith ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment with geographicallydistributed teams.
- Flexible to work in shifts.
