Analyst /Associate/ Billing Clerk charges andinvoices customers for services rendered. TheBilling Clerk applies applicable discounts,special rates, or credit terms; and ensures allinvoices are correct before sending them tocustomers or insurance providers. The rolemonitors E-billing progress, including statusreporting, while participating in billingoperations-client implementations,deductions, and system maintenance, andensures that functions are run efficiently.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and bill attorney hours percontract specifications
- Issues debit and credit memos andstatements to customers monthly, cancelsor void invoices, and responds to customerconcerns relating to billingResponding to client requests ortransferring to the necessarydepartment
- Follows up on delinquent payments andresubmit billing as needed
- Tracks status of billed invoicesRevises and resubmits short-paid andrejected invoices
- Reviews time entries on pre-bills andrequests revisions of insufficient entriesDetermines expenses and fess that wereshort-paid or rejected that cannot berecovered
- Gathers and organizes supportingdocmantation fNotification details will be hidden duringsharing or screen recording
- Works closely with all accountingdepartments & Project Managers
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- O-2 years’ experience working in a billingspecialist role• Very good written and verbalcommunication skills• Good research/analysis skills, andknowledge of contract to cash cycle
- Moderate level of excel knowledge, able tocreate dashboards and reports using excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; includingWord, Excel & Outlook
- Perform day to day tasks based on thestandard processes
- Administrative skills
- generaladministrative and clerical workOrganization skills
- able to prioritize andexecute many assignments in quick andefficient manner
- Strong customer service skills
- Works efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironmentProblem-solving skills
