They are seeking a Junior Site Reliability engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join their growing team. This role is ideal for engineers who are interested in nanotechnology, system reliability, and observability, and are eager to learn and growin a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior engineers and development teams to support the reliability,monitoring, and performance of distributed cloud-based applications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support monitoring and reliability efforts for HPE Networking SASE products
- Contribute to setting up and maintaining dashboards and alerts using tools like Prometheus and Grafana Monitor application health and respond
- Troubleshooting of production issues and contribute to identifying root Causes
- participate in incident management activities and adhere to standard Responsibilities data from monitoring tools to identify trends and potential issues.
- Analysing data from monitoring tools to identify trends and potential issues
- Support maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications toensure high availability of cloud based applications
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application behaviour inproduction
- Participate in on-call rotations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps,or related roles (including internships)
- Monitoring tools (Grafana /Prometheus / Datadog)o Logs, metrics, and dashboards
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS,HTTP/HTTPS)o
- Willingness to contribute and learn incident management processes to Good problem-solving and analytical Good communication skills (written and verbal)Willingness to work in night
