ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and operate an Azure +Databricks Lakehouse usingbronze/silver/gold architecture,governed by Unity Catalog andPurview
- Build batch and streaming datapipelines (ADE, StructuredStreaming) with automateddata-quality checks, CI/CD,observability, and version control.
- Data Modeling & BI EnablementDevelop curated datasets,semantic models, anddimensional models aligned tobusiness needs
- Implement RLS/OLS anddeployment pipelines to supportenterprise-scale reporting inPower BI
- Manage PostgreSQL schemas,performance tuning, indexing,and replication strategies·
- Implement CDC pipelines fromPostgreSQL toLakehouse/Synapse.
- Establish data SLAs and performautomated checks (accuracy,completeness, timeliness).
- Enforce enterprise securitybaselines: Managed Identities,Private Endpoints, Key Vault,least-privilege access
- Maintain governancecompliance via UnityCatalog/Purview with >95%metadata completenessMonitor and optimize costsacross clusters, pipelines, andstorage tiers.
- Drive observability throughalerts, logging, lineage tracking,SLOs, and incident management·
- Implement cluster policies,autoscaling, storage lifecycletiering, and reserved capacitywhen beneficial IAZorlz Aith nrocot oAnaro anNotification details will be hidden duringsharing or screen recording

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Graduate degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology,Engineering, or related field (orequivalent experience)Azure (ADE, Data Lake, Synapse)
- Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake,Structured Streaming)Power BI (data modeling, DAX,RLS/OLS)
- PostgreSQL (schema design,optimization, replication).
- Understanding ofdata-engineering best practices:C/CD, testing (unit/integration),blue-green deployments
- Familiarity with governance toolslike Unity Catalog and Purview.
- •Understanding of access controls,key rotation, secret management• Awareness of privacy andcompliance frameworks (GDPR-likecontrols for PII)
