ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Level 1 telephone supportto external clients as required.
- Develop complete understandingof genomics testing services toeffectively communicate and assistin resolving client issues.
- Provide highest levels of customerservice to assure current clientsatisfaction; maintains sensitivity toall potential issues, communicatesthose issues to appropriate personswithin the organization to effectrapid resolution.
- Responding to general requestsrelating to specimen requirementsand collection guidelines, faxing ofwritten reports, confirmation ofsample receipt and verification oftransfusion date/type, TAT etc.. Retrieval and triage of requests fordata/demographic changes.
- Monitoring and responding toclient internet requests.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Knowledge of basic geneticconcepts and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Access, PowerPointand Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills andattention to detail
- Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills, customerrelations and ability to effectively communicate with patients andhealthcare professionals
- Self-motivation and ability to workboth independently and in a teamenvironment
- Skilled in prioritization,multitasking, and criticalthinking/problem solving
- Curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm,and the ability to learn quickly
