Kroll Portfolio Valuation practice specializes inassisting clients with the valuation ofalternative investments, specifically securitiesand positions for which there are no “activemarket” quotations such as illiquid securitiesfor hedge funds, private equity funds, businessdevelopment corporations and fund of funds.Kroll team is looking for consultant who willbe involved in providing support to our globalvaluation practice. The opportunity is ideal forprofessionals who are interested in learningglobal best practices, tools and techniques byworking on valuation engagements for globalclients.
They are looking for Analyst’s who will beinvolved in providing support to our globalportfolio valuation practice. The opportunity isideal for professionals who are interested inlearning best practices, tools and techniquesby working on valuation engagements for theirclients.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building long-term client relationshipsthrough exceptional client serviceincluding a deep understanding of theclient and their needs, eXceptionalresponsiveness, and the delivery of thehighest quality service and work product
- Developing deep technical strength in thevaluation of alternative assets, serving as afirm resource for that expertise andsharing that knowledge through trainingand mentoring
- Managing client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client throughto staffing and managing the resources andwork plan through to timely completion
- Individuals will be assigned a wide varietyof projects and given as muchresponsibility as their experience andcapabilities permit
- Project management including clientinterviewing, engagement economics,team management, report writing
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 0-2 years of valuation-relatedwork experience in financial services
- CA, Master’s degree in Finance,Accounting or Economics or equivalentthereof (e.g., CFA); or MBA from anaccredited college/universityProven technical sills, proven analyticaland problem-solving skillsDemonstrated leadership experienceincluding managing and developing clientrelationships as well as mentoring anddeveloping staffDemonstrated verbal and writtencommunication skills, comfortablespeaking with senior management and infront of an audience
- Ability to manage confidential, sensitiveinformation
